Hello Appendectomy!

Challenges still come in our lives though we are trying to stay in the right track. One thing I learned is — those challenges are  doorways to opportunities for us to grow and be prepared for future battles of a higher level.

We said warm hello to appendicitis this year. Butch had to undergo surgery. After work, I would come at the hospital and watch over him. And sometimes I also sleep while he is sleeping. This is love made stronger. Together we will fight the stongest goliaths coming.

He wasn’t able to make it for his graduation day because of discomfort post op. We weren’t able to attend the YSA Conference together but it’s okay. Not to mention that he had a surgical site infection post op. It’s a blessing to be a nurse. His surgeon gave me instructions in preparing the solution for cleansing. And of course he went on a high protein diet.

All’s well that ends well.

Fave Dessert

Butch loves floats! mango, fruit etc. This one is choco-oreo float.

The steps are just simple.
You need the following:
chocolate Graham crackers
All-purpose cream
Condensed milk
Oreo

1. Put a layer of graham crackers at the bottom of the container you will use.
2. Spread the combined all purpose cream and condensed
3. sprinkle some oreos. It depends whether you want the oreo whole or a little bit crushed.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 to the desired thickness you want.
