Sewing is Fun!

I enrolled in advance dressmaking class this summer! Say hello to my new buddy, Singer!  She has his place in one of the corners of our rented home.

We're having a lot of fun now. I'm never too old to learn new skills. So if we will have children soon, I can sew their clothes. For now, I'm just sewing for myself.

I came across a site http://www.allfreesewing.com/ with downloadable patterns.

Sewing taught me patience. As a newbie it's a bit challenging to work on patterns. You need to be accurate with measurements otherwise it will not fit perfectly. I have to draw patterns first before cutting on fabric. I am still slow but there's improvement already. I was able to sew 2 dresses, 2 blouses, 3 skirts and 2 shorts.
